Rising Voices on Display:  
Community Stepping Stones Artwork

New artwork is now on display at Hillsborough County Center's "Rising Voices: Creative Works by Hillsborough County Youth" art exhibit. The third installation, "Boundless,"  is a collaborative piece that aims to capture the spirit of spring and the essence of our community. 

Sulphur Springs nonprofit asks for funding to continue offering free art program to kids

For 20 years, a nonprofit in an underserved area in Tampa has been working to provide kids with a safe outlet to create art. At a city council meeting Thursday, leaders from Community Stepping Stones said they are under the constant threat of disappearing if they can’t keep enough funding to operate.

Tampa's city council will vote today on a $75,000 grant for Community Stepping Stones in Sulphur Springs. The organization provides at-risk kids a safe environment to learn and meet new friends and features art projects to spur kids educational experience and creativeness.
